Cellular Routers

Advantech routing technology allows users to easily establish connectivity between isolated networks, giving greater flexibility for building secure applications. The involved technologies include VPNs, which provide secure remote access for users; network address translation (NAT), which hides users’ web servers behind our router with destination NAT; network-based firewalls, which secure infrastructure; routers, which can be used to create application tiers on different isolated networks by leveraging the capabilities of each network, and multiple interfaces, for which Advantech routers provide numerous SKUs for various interface combinations including RS-232/485, digital I/O modules, Wi-Fi, dual SIM, and USB devices.

  • PoE Industrial Advanced 4G/LTE Routers & Gateways

    PoE (Power over Ethernet) versions of SmartFlex cellular routers simplify installations and reduce wire connection to only an Ethernet cable without the need for a separate power cable or power supply. The first version, with PoE PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) has the capability to provide power for connected devices such as IP cameras and WIFI access points through the router. Both PoE PSE 25.5 W (IEEE 802.3at-2003) and PoE PSE 15.4 W (IEEE 802.3af-2003) are supported on two Ethernet ports of the router. The second version, supporting PoE PD (Powered Device) has the ability to power a SmartFlex router via Ethernet cable from another PoE PSE device.
